DevOpsエンジニア/ DevOps Engineer

A renowned technology company is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support global services. This is a hybrid setup and contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical API services
• Build “Infrastructure as Code” to deploy services to multiple environments
• Improve stability and performance of staging, QA, stress test, and production environments
• Understand DevOps best practices and introduce innovative approaches
• Enhance alerting and monitoring for quick issue detection and resolution
• Provide troubleshooting support as part of on-call rotation

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in DevOps
• More than 7 years of relevant experience
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised platform technologies
• Prior experience with CI tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity)
• Hands on experience with “Infrastructure as Code” tools (Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet)
• Previous experience with public Cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting technologies for API services
• Strong knowledge in programming languages (Java, C/C++, PHP, or Ruby)
• Familiarity with network security management, firewalls, VPN, VNet segregation, RBAC, load balancers
• Experience with databases (MySQL, Cassandra, or PostgreSQL) is ideal
• Background with caching technologies (Redis or Memcached) is a plus
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) API gateways is desired
• Business level English; proficient in Japanese is a plus
