Java 2 データエンジニア / Java 2 Data Engineer

A renowned automotive company is seeking a Backend Engineer for an exciting data project. The selected candidate will maintain and develop data-intensive applications and components. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain applications in Kotlin and Node.js, and include fixing bugs
• Design and develop new custom components
• Maintain and update project dependencies, resolving conflicts
• Collaborate with JavaScript developers and software engineers on front-end and back-end architecture
• Build and deploy scalable micro-services backend services
• Develop and deploy data-intensive applications using a modern stack

Requirements:

• Practical experience in backend development with Go, Python, Rust, Java, or Kotlin
• Hands on experience inbuilding and deploying scalable micro-services
• Previous experience in deploying containerised services on Kubernetes
• Experience deploying apps on AWS
• Proficient in building data-intensive applications with modern stack
• Skilled in REST and gRPC
• Understanding of databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB
• Skilled in DevOps, including Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Spark or Flink is desired
• Expertise in building experimentation platforms is preferred
• Frontend development skills (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js) is ideal
• Knowledge of queue systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus
