サイバーセキュリティスペシャリスト/ Cybersecurity Specialist

A global life insurance company is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist. The selected candidate will ensure the security of applications, cloud environments, and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on work for daily activities and propose solutions for improvement initiatives
• Communicate with local and global counterparts for planning and executing various Information Security activities
• Drive application security programs, including governance of application vulnerability testing and ensuring remediation plans
• Act as a contact point for application teams and external testing partners to manage application vulnerabilities
• Plan and conduct application security awareness programs, ensuring secure coding practices
• Promote the implementation of security solutions at an early stage of the application life cycle, including governance of threat analysis
• Lead monitoring and tracking of cloud and IT infrastructure vulnerability remediations
• Manage the Web Application Firewall platform, including onboarding new applications

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in Information Technology
• Prior experience in Information Security related field
• Experience in the financial industry (life insurance is a plus)
• Ability to prepare accurate reports for all levels of staff in clear language and provide presentations
• Willing to learn new IT technologies and Information Security trends
• Familiarity with industry standards (NIST CSF, PCI DSS) is a plus
• Possess a valid CISSP or similar certification is a plus
• Intermediate level written and verbal English; advanced level Japanese
