A global chemical solutions company is looking for an Application Lab Technician. The selected candidate will assist in developing and testing various coating systems to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and testing coating systems
  • Develop products or systems with minimal support
  • Conduct trials and solve technical problems
  • Maintain a well-organised laboratory
  • Conduct application testing for product stability
  • Provide technical and application support to customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry or chemical engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience in paints or coating industry
  • Knowledge of JIS or Japanese OEM standards
  • Background in coating industry is ideal
  • Native level Japanese; business level English
