An international chemical company is searching for a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities and lead to launch opportunities in Japan market.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new growth through the identification and cultivation of business opportunities, channels, and end customers
  • Spearhead the introduction of products and applications by liaising with technical teams
  • Take charge of problem-solving efforts by handling the collaboration of technical and other resources
  • Drive international new projects by coordinating with teams across different countries
  • Devise and oversee the progress of project management
  • Train distributors, customers, and other business partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in chemical or material-related field
  • More than 8 years of sales experience in sales and business development or technical role in Chemical industry
  • Previous project management experience and methodologies
  • Solid and strong chemical background
  • Strong business knowledge in application and value selling
  • Excellent business planning and presentation skills
  • Prior work experience in R&D/TS is ideal
  • Proficient in written and verbal English
