A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budget planning, and providing financial analysis to support business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and yearly Act/Fcst/Budget variance analysis
  • Manage the preparation of yearly budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Provide financial analysis and business support to other functions
  • Conduct financial analysis to drive business performance
  • Collaborate with global teams and support standardisation of budget processes and reporting
  • Assist in business-related projects with both domestic and international stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • More than 5 years of experience in Finance at a multinational company
  • More than 2 years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Proven experience in budget development
  • Proficient in cost accounting, IFRS, and Japanese GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills (SAP is a plus)
  • Possess a valid Nissho Boki grade 2+ or CPA qualification is a plus
  • Native level Japanese; business level English
