エレクトリカルスーパーバイザー/ Electrical Supervisor

A company in the aquaculture industry is seeking an Electrical Supervisor. The successful candidate will plan, supervise, verify, and report on electrical installation, testing, pre-commissioning, safety, quality, and construction activities for a land-based aquaculture facility.

Responsibilities:

• Read, understand and apply approved electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, containment layouts, grounding details, lighting and power layouts, control schematics, and vendor documents
• Plan and supervise daily electrical work including cable tray and conduit installation, cable pulling, panel installation, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, lighting, earthing and grounding, instruments, and terminations
• Verify manpower, tools, access, materials, permits, isolation requirements, and inspection points before work begins
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with civil, mechanical, process equipment, automation, utilities, and commissioning teams
• Enforce electrical safety requirements, PTW, LOTO, temporary power controls, energisation controls, barricading, and testing precautions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, electrical
• construction or technical discipline
• More than 10 years of experience in electrical systems on large industrial facilities with site-based construction supervision experience
• Experience supervising electrical installation, testing, troubleshooting, punch closure, and contractor crews
• Experience preparing daily and weekly construction, inspection, and test-status reports in English
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, codes, safety standards, LOTO, PTW, grounding, cable management, panel installation, and testing procedures
• Fluent Japanese; proficient in English (CEFR B2+)

Preferred requirements:

• Training in LOTO, commissioning, controls and automation, high-voltage and low-voltage systems, or hazardous-energy control
• Experience working on projects in Japan or with Japanese contractors and local authorities
• Experience in aquaculture, water treatment, process plants, utilities, automation, or food-grade facilities
• Experience with PLC and SCADA interfaces, VFDs, instrumentation, commissioning software, or digital test records
• Experience using BIM, 3D models, or construction management platforms
• Possess a valid electrical licence or certification recognised for industrial facilities
