Manager, Overseas Real Estate Transaction Advisory

Our client, a leading Japanese professional services and investment management group, is seeking an experienced professional to join their overseas real estate division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in real estate advisory and investment management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial advisory, transaction management, and real estate investment.If you are a seasoned professional looking to leverage your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment, this role could be the perfect fit. We are looking for someone with excellent project management, deal management, and financial expertise, along with fluent English and native Japanese language skills.

Our client has a rich history spanning over three decades and manages a substantial portfolio of real estate assets across Japan, including over 30,000 units of apartments. They also have diversified interests in energy and elderly care sectors. With a robust network of subsidiaries and affiliates in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Jakarta, they have established a strong global presence. Notably, they have obtained a REIT license in Indonesia, making them a pioneering foreign entity in this market.Their overseas real estate division provides comprehensive advisory services for real estate investments and offers alternative investment products such as REITs and Private Equity Funds. They are committed to innovation, enhancing real estate transactions through technology and business model innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Advisory: Experienced in financial advisory, investment banking, private equity, fund management, real estate, or property management.
• Transaction Advisory: Proven track record in executing transactions and managing deals.
• Due Diligence: Experience in supporting due diligence procedures at a manager level.
• Fund Business: Ability to prepare investor memorandums and manage all aspects of real estate fund business.
• Management Experience: Management experience is highly desirable.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and native Japanese speaker.
• Age: Preferably between 35-45 years old, but flexible.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Project Management & Deal Management: Strong background in project and deal management.
• Accounting & Finance: Accounting and finance background is highly preferred.
• Big 4 Experience: Experience with Big 4 firms (FAAS, tax, audit) is a plus
