大阪支店長/ Osaka Branch Manager

A major commercial bank is looking for an Osaka Branch Manager. The selected candidate will lead branch operations, drive business growth in the Kansai region, and manage staff, compliance, and customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all branch operations and report to the Tokyo Branch Manager
• Respond to market developments and customer needs while implementing annual strategies
• Lead and develop staff, driving performance improvement and professional growth
• Ensure compliance with internal audits, risk frameworks, and regulatory policies
• Build and maintain relationships with local banks to expand market presence
• Plan staffing, recruit and retain key personnel to build a stable team
• Foster a positive team culture and uphold ethical and professional standards
• Collaborate with other branches across Japan to support business expansion
• Coordinate with headquarters and overseas offices for cross-border financial services

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 10 years of experience in banking-related roles
• Proven experience managing teams
• Business experience in Japan; familiarity with Osaka or Kansai customs
• Understanding of Taiwanese business practices/culture
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in Chinese or English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working in Osaka or Kansai region
• Prior exposure to Taiwanese and Japanese cross-border banking
