An international reinsurance brokerage firm is seeking a Casualty Broker. The selected candidate will support client portfolio management, facilitate reinsurance transactions, and drive business growth through new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent client service and maintain strong client relationships
• Analyse clients’ insurance portfolios with catastrophe and financial models in collaboration with analysts
• Propose risk transfer solutions aligned with clients’ risk appetite and financial goals
• Facilitate transactions across treaty reinsurance, facultative reinsurance, and capital markets products
• Provide market updates, reports, and renewal documentation to clients
• Coordinate and attend client and reinsurer meetings, ensuring accurate records and follow-up
• Support development and structuring of new reinsurance protections tailored to client needs
• Drive business development through marketing, prospecting, and new client acquisition
• Collaborate with London colleagues on casualty facultative reinsurance placements
• Translate underwriting information and liaise with reinsurers and clients to secure optimal terms
• Research and prepare reports on international casualty market trends, regulations, and precedents
• Act as the primary contact for casualty facultative inquiries, fostering strong client relationships

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry
• Experience in sales, negotiation, and client-facing functions
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Willingness to collaborate with international clients and markets
• Native level Japanese; advanced level English
