ビジネス開発シニアマネージャー/ Business Development Senior Manager

A global reinsurance organisation is looking for a Business Development Senior Manager. The qualified applicant will contribute to the development of financially motivated reinsurance solutions throughout APAC.

Responsibilities:

• Develop various areas including learning core product offerings and providing tailor-made reinsurance solutions
• Assist with the management of deal execution of large asset intensive reinsurance transactions
• Develop internal relationships with other stakeholders such as GFS Pricing, Investment Solutions and Treaty teams
• Assist in developing new reinsurance opportunities in close coordination with other client-facing teams
• Understand the reinsurance regulatory environment in Japan, including accounting and capital
• Develop relationships with other key players in the Japan insurance market

Requirements:

• More than 4 years of experience in actuarial, investment, corporate planning, or finance department in Life Insurance, reinsurance, consulting firms, or relevant industry
• Prior ESR, financial reporting or accounting experience
• Previous pricing experience of life insurance, health insurance, longevity, or annuity products
• Knowledge of life insurance, health insurance, and/or annuity products
• Understanding of ALM techniques, including derivatives, and capital markets approaches
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Possess valid actuarial qualifications (IAJ, SOA, etc.)
• Fluent level Japanese and English
