卸売クレジットリスクマネージャー/ Wholesale Credit Risk Manager

A multinational banking and financial services organisation is looking for a Wholesale Credit Risk Manager. The selected candidate will evaluate and manage wholesale credit risk, safeguard asset quality, and support sustainable business growth through robust risk governance. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, approve, and recommend wholesale credit transactions and annual reviews to safeguard capital and organisational reputation
• Monitor credit portfolio quality, identify emerging risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies
• Maintain non-performing advances and impairment provisions within approved risk thresholds
• Apply group and regional credit risk policies consistently across the credit portfolio
• Promote a forward-looking risk culture and strong asset quality management
• Provide timely credit risk insights, updates, and recommendations to governance and risk management forums
• Build strong partnerships with business units and regional risk teams to support balanced risk-taking
• Prepare internal and external credit risk reports and presentations for regulators and key stakeholders
• Support implementation of risk strategy, risk appetite frameworks, and strategic initiatives
• Participate in risk-related projects and respond to business needs in line with agreed SLAs
• Maintain strong internal controls and manage operational and credit risk within the team
• Support credit systems implementation, testing, enhancements, and upgrades

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, or corporate/commercial banking
• Experience with traded credit and market risk, with a strong understanding of banking products
• Proven experience managing internal and external audits
• Possess a valid professional qualification in accounting, credit analysis, or risk management
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English
