卸売マーケティングマネージャー/ Wholesale Marketing Manager

A foreign asset management company is looking for a Wholesale Marketing Manager. The selected candidate will support product marketing for the wholesale segment, driving business growth through effective strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and manage product marketing strategies to drive fund inflow from new and existing clients
• Work with the wholesale sales team to understand and address the needs of investment trust distributors and individual investors, delivering suitable marketing content and activities
• Develop and deliver online and offline client communications with innovative approaches in a regulated environment
• Support campaigns using traditional media, social and digital media, website, events, partnerships and collaterals to raise profile among retail clients
• Track and analyse competitor activities and industry trends to enhance product marketing propositions
• Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including Investment, Compliance, Global and Regional Product Marketing, Marketing Delivery and Product Development, to ensure smooth and timely delivery of marketing materials
• Partner with Client Reporting team to provide commentary for regular and ad-hoc reports
• Manage external vendors such as creative agencies and production houses
• Ensure adherence to Global Standards, processes, procedures and compliance requirements
• Manage processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of marketing activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of marketing experience in a financial institution (asset management company with a strong presence in the retail investment trust market is preferred)
• Credible experience delivering a type of product marketing materials and content
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong understanding of the local regulations, client profiles and competitive landscape
• In-depth knowledge of financial terminology and understanding of asset management concepts and industry
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong project management skills
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in digital communications, such as website and electronic direct mail
