Country Head of BCIM

A renowned financial institution is looking for a Country Head of Business Continuity and Incident Management. The selected candidate will lead BCM, incident response, and operational resilience programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk control effectiveness. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead BCM, MIM, and BCIM lifecycle controls ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Oversee business continuity planning, testing, and recovery site readiness across functions
• Manage major incident response, escalation, and stakeholder communications
• Drive operational resilience initiatives including IBS mapping, scenario testing, and risk assessments
• Monitor risk environment, resolve control issues, and ensure timely reporting and remediation
• Build stakeholder relationships, lead governance forums, and strengthen team capability and collaboration

Requirements:

• Experience in risk or control management
• Prior experience in managing incidents, training senior executives and facilitating crisis exercises
• Proven experience of working in highly regulated and complex international organisations
• Background in managing a Business Continuity & Incident Management Programs
• Knowledge of the local business and threat environment
• Familiarity with the BCIM Lifecycle, Program and MIM
• Understanding of global and local BCIM requirements
• Business level Japanese and English
