A multinational financial services company is looking for an Associate. The selected candidate will oversee non-financial risk frameworks, resilience, and control governance while supporting regional management on strategic, regulatory, and organisational initiatives. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a culture of risk awareness and control, promoting open communication and a positive mindset to drive automation and improvement
• Identify, recommend, and implement changes to risk practices within the existing framework
• Oversee tracking and reporting of control weaknesses and efficiency opportunities, including Business Continuity, Third Party Risk management, and Outsourcing activities
• Collaborate with 2nd line and 3rd line (audit) functions to optimise risk management activities
• Coordinate and manage audit preparation and follow-up with Group Audit, monitoring the status of open actions
• Work with key stakeholders to facilitate Non-Financial Risk Management activities such as Business Continuity planning, outsourcing, and issue/action tracking
• Support Managing Directors to maintain awareness of organisational risk posture and ensure deliverables toward internal governance bodies

Requirements:

• Experience in business management, First Line of Defence risk, or business continuity management
• Experience in financial markets services, preferably Clearing
• Strong understanding of the 3 lines of defence risk model
• Knowledge and understanding of Non-Financial Risks regulatory requirements
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English
