会計コンサルタント/ Accounting Consultant

A foreign financial services firm is searching for an Accounting Consultant. The chosen applicant will support client onboarding for accounting and banking services, ensuring compliance with local requirements and internal standards. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Support accounting and banking onboarding for clients under the Business Services, Financial Service Division
• Understand local JGAAP requirements to onboard clients new to the Japan market
• Understand bank account opening requirements and collect necessary documentation and client information to initiate onboarding effectively
• Understand internal standard processes and align them with client requirements to establish ongoing processes
• Organise collected information, requirements, and established processes for transition to the ongoing team for daily operations
• Manage remote communication with clients and partners located globally
• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Provide support to the ongoing team on various tasks as required
• Proactively seek continuous improvement in team performance and efficiency
• Identify potential risks or issues, recommend solutions, and report to supervisors
• Gather client feedback during and after onboarding to identify areas for improvement and ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in business, finance, or accountancy
• 3-4 years of work experience in a related field
• Proficient in MS Office 365
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Business level English

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Navision, SAP, Xero, Oracle, and online banking platforms
• Proficient in Japanese
