A global financial services company is seeking an Associate – Risk & Compliance. The selected candidate will assist in ensuring regulatory compliance, licensing maintenance, and implementation of risk and compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing compliance requirements in Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea
• Support regulatory licensing processes, including obtaining and maintaining licences for products and entities
• Participate in compliance monitoring programs and report issues or breaches
• Review marketing materials and ensure fulfilment of KYC and AML requirements
• Assist in implementing compliance policies and providing training across Asia
• Monitor and analyse regulatory developments affecting the company’s operations
• Maintain corporate records and registers, ensuring timely notifications to relevant authorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in law, commerce, economics, finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of related industry experience
• Proven understanding of regulatory requirements in financial and investment services
• Sound knowledge of laws, regulations, and governance requirements
• Strong financial knowledge
• Governance experience is an advantage
• Fluent level Japanese and English
