VP ワークプレイス ソリューション コンプライアンス/ Workplace Solutions Compliance VP

A global financial services company seeks a Vice President, Workplace Solutions Compliance Officer. This role involves managing regulatory requirements and providing compliance oversight. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate regulatory engagements, analyse developments, and build a robust compliance risk management setup
• Oversee second-line defences, engage in risk assessments, and provide oversight on risks
• Prepare and deliver compliance training
• Support global team coverage areas such as sales, distribution, employee compliance, and fiduciary obligations
• Oversee anti-money laundering programs and data protection from a business perspective
• Contribute to governance through local forums, board meetings, and reporting
• Review policies to ensure regulatory adherence

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Business, Finance, or related fields
• More than 10 years of experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Audit, or Business Control in Financial Institutions
• Prior experience as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer
• Compliance officer experience for intermediary or licenced business
• Experience handling regulatory exams
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations
• Possess valid JSDA Internal Administration and Type 1 Certified Securities Broker Representative qualifications preferred
• Professional level Japanese and English
