A Head of Compliance role is now open in a global payment solutions provider. The selected applicant will be responsible for providing oversight and compliance advice to both Japan and global teams.

A Head of Compliance role is now open in a global payment solutions provider. The selected applicant will be responsible for providing oversight and compliance advice to both Japan and global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures and operating memos
• Develop and perform annual country-specific risk assessments
• Coordinate incident response and remediation efforts
• Investigate alerts reported to Compliance and draft SARs and notifications for regulators and local authorities
• Assess high-risk clients at onboarding, during regular reviews or trigger events
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, and emerging threats, and assess potential risks
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement standards, processes, programs, and best practices related to risk management

Requirements:

• Native level Japanese
• Business level English
