A global financial services group is seeking a Compliance Advisory Officer. The selected candidate will oversee compliance and regulatory matters, providing professional advisory support to various business units and acting as the primary contact for regulators.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compliance advisory to business, management, and other departments, ensuring precise understanding of regulations
• Manage compliance and regulatory requirements, including governance-related issues
• Act as the primary contact for regulators
• Support management on governance matters and handle inspections and examinations for the group
• Build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and escalate issues as needed
• Represent the company within the industry and express opinions on industry matters

Requirements:

• Professional knowledge and expertise in asset management, fund business and related regulations
• Strong compliance advisory skills with knowledge of business conduct and global regulatory environments
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Native level Japanese; business level English
