An Operations role is now open in a foreign financial services firm. The chosen candidate will support business operations, including FX and MM trades, regulatory reporting, and system enhancements. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong knowledge of local FX and Tax Laws and bank systems such as BOJ Net
• Ensure confirmations for all FX/MM transactions are received and verified before fund remittance through SWIFT, letter, fax, or verbal confirmation
• Reconcile Nostro accounts and send daily approvals to Toronto Cash Management
• Maintain good client relationships by providing prompt and accurate responses to inquiries and escalating complaints to management
• Support global system integration and enhancement initiatives

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in the financial industry
• Broad knowledge and understanding of the processing and settlement of all products to include but not limited to FX (Spot and Forward), Options, Loans, Futures and CSA
• Sound knowledge of bank and local Anti-Money Laundering regulations, specifically in relation to third-party payments and those made or received of an unusual nature
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
