投資支援スペシャリスト/ Investment Support Specialist

An international asset management company is looking for an Investment Support Specialist. The selected candidate will provide operational support to Portfolio Managers, oversee fund administration, and ensure smooth trade processing and reconciliations. This is a hybrid setup and long-term contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Control fund accounting activities, including NAV validation, portfolio performance, management fees, and financial reporting
• Oversee daily Front Office operations, including trade management, asset servicing, collateral management, and performance attribution/reporting
• Monitor trade flows between front office systems and third-party service providers for Equity, Fixed Income, FX, and Derivative asset classes
• Investigate and resolve trade matching and settlement queries escalated by Middle Office service providers
• Support Front Office teams on securities and cash positions/exposures
• Ensure accuracy of client information and timely processing of client operations
• Contribute to enhancing and securing operational processes
• Maintain a strong risk control focus and escalate potential incidents according to standards
• Coordinate relationships in Asia with third-party service providers, including Fund Accountants, transfer agents, and custodians
• Support regional and local trading desks with trade checking, confirmation, and operational process improvements

Requirements:

• 5–10 years in Asset Management or Investment Bank
• Significant experience in asset management operations
• Good understanding of trade processes
• Advanced Excel knowledge
• Strong interaction skills for dealing with Fund Managers, Middle Office, Accounting, and external entities
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Advanced degree in finance, financial engineering, or other relevant quantitative field
• Knowledge of VBA or other programming languages
