営業マネージャー/ Sales Manager
An international industrial electronics and connectivity solutions company is looking for a Sales Manager. The selected candidate will drive territory sales growth by developing customers, leading the field sales team, and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. This is a remote setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical sales plans in collaboration with senior leadership
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with existing customers to increase share of wallet and product penetration
- Identify and develop new customers while uncovering growth opportunities across target markets
- Lead, train, motivate, and manage the field sales team to achieve sales and gross profit targets
- Analyse customer purchasing data to define future sales and product strategies
- Prepare and manage annual sales and expenditure budgets for the territory
- Monitor sales performance against budget and review progress regularly with management
- Coordinate closely with inside sales and internal stakeholders to maximise sales opportunities
- Respond promptly to customer requests and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism
- Promote strong sales ethics, teamwork, and a high-performance culture within the sales team
- Track competitor activity, industry trends, and market intelligence to grow market share
- Drive effective use of CRM systems to manage leads, opportunities, and sales funnels
- Ensure accurate reporting of customer visits, quotations, and follow-up activities
- Represent the business at trade exhibitions and industry events to generate new opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- More than 5 years of sales experience with progression into a sales management role
- Proven experience developing new customers and growing existing accounts
- Solid CRM system knowledge for managing contacts, opportunities, and sales funnels
- Working knowledge of ERP systems with the ability to analyse and interpret business data
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with willingness to master internal systems
Preferred requirements:
- Experience working within a distribution business model
- Exposure to industries such as Military, Oil and Gas, Commercial Air, Industrial, Data Communication, or Rail Mass Transit
- Experience managing supplier relationships and complex sales programmes
