Sales Head of Japan
A multinational industrial networking and connectivity solutions company is looking for a Sales Head of Japan. The selected candidate will lead the business strategy, drive revenue growth, and build strong customer and partner relationships while developing a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve financial targets by meeting and exceeding revenue budgets
- Develop and execute strategies aligned with market environment, corporate objectives, and organisational capabilities
- Build countrywide market insights covering competition, legal environment, and government relations
- Drive sales pipeline progression, allocate resources effectively, and optimise routes to market
- Manage key accounts and strategic partners while creating new business opportunities
- Establish and nurture relationships with C-level stakeholders and external partners
- Build and transform the organisation to ensure long-term competitiveness
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
- Train, compensate, and manage teams to maximise motivation and results
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or above in Business is ideal
- More than 10 years of management experience with increased responsibility in a multi-function environment in a high technology company or global organisation
- More than 5 years of experience in continuous over-achievement of sales targets in Japan
Prior sales experience managing a team of over 5 people
- Proven experience in channel sales or business development management
- Experience leading a product marketing team is desired
- Previous experience managing local office operations is preferred
- Exposure to global company operations and planning processes is a plus
- Fluent level English and Japanese
