市場開発マネージャー/ Market Development Manager

An international industrial technology company is seeking a Market Development Manager, Energy Transition. The selected candidate will incubate new market opportunities, develop customer pipelines, execute regional strategies, and support cross-functional collaboration to achieve sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Incubate and develop the Japanese market and global accounts through market research, analysis, and strategic execution
• Identify market trends, innovation developments, and align technological capabilities with customer needs
• Prepare and execute regional action plans and develop a strong customer pipeline
• Engage with key customers, prepare technical materials, and deliver impactful presentations
• Facilitate technical and commercial discussions and communicate value propositions effectively
• Handle quality issues as a front-facing representative and coordinate with internal teams
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers, stakeholders, and industry influencers
• Participate in conferences and trade fairs to enhance brand presence and identify opportunities
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to drive business synergies and growth initiatives
• Support business units by bridging communication with Japanese global accounts and providing insights
• Assist in strategic planning, data analysis, and preparation of business reports and forecasts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business administration, marketing, economics,
  international business, engineering or science
• More than 5 years of experience in market development, business development, sales and marketing within the manufacturing industry
• Experience launching products or solutions into new markets
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Proficient in Korean
