An international medical technology company is looking for a Field Service Engineer – Beam Physics. The selected candidate will install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced proton therapy systems while supporting global customer sites.

Responsibilities:

• Install and test equipment and systems according to defined plans, procedures, and specifications
• Perform system troubleshooting and report improvements to the R&D team
• Maintain and repair equipment based on scheduled maintenance and operational needs
• Assist in creating training materials and delivering training to colleagues
• Document and report interventions with high levels of detail and accuracy
• Support remote helpdesk activities, including troubleshooting and technical assistance
• Participate in multidisciplinary projects to improve processes, products, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in physics, computer science, electrical, or systems engineering, or equivalent expertise in beam physics
• Experience with Excel data analysis and MS Office Suite
• Proficient in technical troubleshooting, system maintenance, and documentation
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% and work flexible shifts, including weekends
• Fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

• 3–5 years of related field experience with expertise in root-cause analysis and large-scale system troubleshooting
• Experience with dosimetry devices, calibration tools, or programming languages such as Python
• Experience using computerised maintenance management systems
• Experience with high-tech medical equipment
