プラント技師/ Plant Engineer

A multinational pharmaceutical company is looking for a Plant Engineer. The selected candidate will maintain, manage, and improve factory facilities and service equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and global engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, calibrate, and manage all factory facilities and service equipment, including air conditioning, compressed air, water, electrical, and wastewater treatment systems
• Respond to sudden equipment issues, perform inspections, request calibrations, and manage corrective actions
• Prepare and review procedures, reports, and GMP documentation for existing and new service equipment
• Manage equipment vendors and supervise maintenance activities
• Oversee environmental and industrial waste management and implement factory insect control plans
• Ensure workplace safety, conduct audits, hazard reviews, and implement safety improvements
• Apply global quality and engineering standards, manage CAPA responses, and support internal/external audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in industrial field
• More than 5 years of experience in maintenance and facility management
• Experience in maintaining and managing mechanical, electrical, and control systems in the manufacturing industry
• Skilled in implementing GMP and quality management practices
• Possess valid Class 2 Electrician and Dangerous Goods Handler Class B/Class 4 licences
• Native level Japanese; conversational level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP-targeted manufacturing environments
• Experience working in cross-functional environments
