テクニカルサービスエンジニア/ Technical Service Engineer

A global industrial machinery company is looking for a Technical Service Engineer – Key Account East Asia. The selected candidate will lead on-site and remote technical support for key accounts, resolve equipment issues, and work cross-functionally to improve machine performance and customer satisfaction. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting for large capital equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues to reduce downtime and restore performance
• Monitor machine performance remotely and take action on emerging technical problems
• Support customer teams through troubleshooting and provide clear service documentation and reports
• Act as the main technical contact for key accounts and align solutions with customer needs
• Gather customer feedback, identify recurring issues, and support long-term corrective actions and service

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics
• 3-5 years in a service engineer role (large capital equipment, preferably in industrial automation or robotics)
• Experience with strategic or high-value customers
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2+); proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience supporting customers across different regions or countries
