グローバル高速探査技術リーダー/ Global Fast Exploration Technical Leader

A global food manufacturing company is looking for a Global Fast Exploration Technical Leader. The selected candidate will drive rapid experimentation, prototyping, and technical scale-up of breakthrough innovations across Japan and globally.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical delivery of Horizon 4 rapid test-and-learn initiatives with internal and external partners
• Build agile prototyping capabilities from digital mock-ups to in-market MVPs
• Scan for emerging technologies, new categories, and disruptive trends in Japan and globally
• Set and enforce rigorous technical, quality, and regulatory validation standards
• Design ways of working to transition concepts smoothly from experimentation to scale-up
• Embed agile ways of working and a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in science or engineering or similar technical field
• 8–12 years of experience in R&D innovation technical roles (end to end Product Development within Food/Petfood categories)
• Experience in consumer insight driven product development
• Prior experience to collaborate with external partners
• Proven experience working both in Japan and regional/global contexts
• Background in rapid prototyping, MVP development, and agile innovation
• Excellent project management skills
• Knowledge with Design Thinking including interaction with consumers
• Fluent level English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Prior R&D technical experiences or relevant functions are preferred (Process, Package, Q&FS, CTI, Technical program lead or Commercial etc. On top of Product Development)
