製造マネージャー/ Manufacturing Manager

A multinational glass and materials manufacturing company is seeking a Manufacturing Manager. The selected candidate will drive manufacturing excellence, operational performance, and long-term profitability across float and rolled glass operations in Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Drive manufacturing excellence initiatives across float and rolled glass operations
• Improve asset performance using standardised systems, tools, and best practices
• Support short-term business objectives while enabling long-term operational growth
• Lead operational improvement initiatives across architectural, automotive, fine glass, and solar products
• Contribute to business development through new product development and capital investment projects
• Plan and manage budgets, quality control, task-force activities, and change management initiatives
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones to align manufacturing strategies

Requirements:

• More than 15 years of experience in float and or rolled glass manufacturing operations
• More than 5 years of experience managing overall site manufacturing operations
• Experience leading operational excellence and manufacturing performance improvement initiatives
• Proficient in lean manufacturing methodologies and operational planning
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N1); proficient in English B2+ or CEFR or TOEIC 800+

Preferred requirements:

• Competency in VBA programming
