サービスディレクター/ Service Director

A global semiconductor company is looking for a Service Director. The selected candidate will lead service operations, ensuring top-quality customer support while driving team performance and achieving business results.

Responsibilities:

• Create and sustain a work environment prioritising safety and quality
• Foster a culture of mutual trust, respect, and open communication
• Develop service leaders and engineers, managing team performance through coaching and corrective actions
• Manage leadership and technical talent pipelines
• Own service and spares quarterly revenue forecasts and ensure forecast accuracy
• Drive service and spares P&L performance to meet the annual operational plan
• Ensure operational KPIs are achieved, and workforce sizing aligns with customer investment cycles
• Contribute to strategic business initiatives to achieve revenue, margin, and market share growth
• Influence senior leaders and executives through clear, concise, and data-driven communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in an engineering field
• More than 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry supporting complex capital equipment and process technology
• More than 10 years in a leadership or people management role
• Experience in customer satisfaction, service & spares business, or account management, preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of Thin film / Metal / Diffusion deposition systems
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• MBA or equivalent advanced management education
• Interest in emerging semiconductor manufacturing technologies
