Service Director

A renowned electronics manufacturer is seeking a Service Director. The selected candidate will lead the service business, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow the Japan Service business to achieve high customer satisfaction and employee engagement
• Oversee service delivery across remote, on-site, and other channels to ensure an excellent customer experience
• Collaborate with Sales to develop service opportunities that strengthen long-term customer relationships
• Manage the Service department’s budget, ensuring cost control, resource planning, and financial target achievement
• Drive timely installations, preventive maintenance, and repair services through hands-on leadership and strategic planning
• Monitor service KPIs, ensure order accuracy, and develop team competencies and engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, business administration, or a relevant domain
• More than 5 years of experience in leadership (Service operations is ideal)
• Experience with LEAN principles
• Proficient in Japanese and English
