システムエンジニア/ System Engineer

A global automotive technology company is looking for a System Engineer. The selected candidate will coordinate system development between customers and internal teams, ensuring the integration and launch of electronic systems in line with customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Define customer requirements and coordinate system development with the engineering team
• Ensure development milestones and deadlines are met in terms of functionality and quality
• Coordinate system integration of electronics hardware and software
• Oversee system validation, ensuring customer requirements are met for final product launch
• Support system development/modification to meet unique customer needs
• Interface with various engineering and manufacturing teams to support the execution of electrical engineering products
• Participate in product launch teams as needed
• Support program management, product marketing, and sales with technical information to aid product sales
• Train and educate internal teams on product definition and function
• Communicate between customer and US development teams, ensuring understanding of system engineering guidelines and embedded software quality standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronics, Information Technology, or related fields
• More than 10 years of system engineering and/or embedded software development experience (C, C+, or similar languages)
• More than 5 years of experience in system engineering roles within the automotive industry, particularly with ECU
• Practical experience with automotive cybersecurity is ideal
• Experience with Automotive-Spice and CMMI preferred
• Proficient in IT skills and qualified as an IT engineer desired
• Potential to be dispatched as a guest engineer to customers
• Ability and willingness to travel globally
• Bilingual level Japanese and English (TOEIC 630+)
