シニアセールスマネージャー/ Senior Sales Manager
A global automotive components company is looking for a Senior Sales Manager. The selected candidate will drive account growth, lead sales teams, manage programmes, and negotiate commercial agreements with key customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with customer contacts across purchasing, engineering, and programme teams
- Interface with first-level customer management and participate in regular review meetings
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments
- Prepare, validate, and negotiate commercial offers in line with customer requirements
- Review costing files and build targeted pricing and negotiation strategies
- Ensure accurate pricing documentation and customer communications
- Support claims negotiations and apply contractual management guidelines
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Engineers
- Assign objectives and monitor team performance
- Negotiate engineering change requests to ensure on-time and profitable outcomes
- Monitor variable cost margins and commercial productivity initiatives
- Execute VA-VE commercial mechanisms and manage local economic impacts
- Oversee sales administration processes, including orders, invoices, and payment terms
- Manage commercial activities for spare parts
- Prepare and improve commercial offers through negotiation cycles
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or above in business or engineering
- More than 10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry
- More than 5 years of team management experience
- Experience in automotive sales with a strong track record, preferably in electronics
- Strong competencies in relationship management and negotiation
- Comfortable with financial analysis and commercial data
- Ability to work in an international business environment
- Fluent level Japanese and English
