アカウントマネージャー/ Account Manager
A multinational thermal management technologies company is looking for an Account Manager within its Sales Department. The selected candidate will lead commercial and technical sales activities, grow market share, and drive new product introductions across key customers and industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to identify and convert business opportunities
- Establish the company as a key supplier among OEMs and Tier 1 customers
- Coordinate with global account managers and internal teams to support vehicle launch plans and technical proposals
- Lead customer interfaces for product proposals, feasibility studies, and program launches
- Manage internal coordination with project management and engineering teams for prototype and mass production builds
- Drive advanced engineering and product development processes to meet customer requirements
- Initiate, supervise, and finalise cost models and quotation packages for new business
- Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and profitability targets
- Introduce company products into new industries, including commercial vehicles, furniture, medical, and aftermarket sectors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above with a technical or commercial background
- More than 5 years of experience in automotive application sales or business management at a Tier 1 supplier
- Experience in automotive sales, business development, and OEM new product launch processes
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with the working culture of foreign companies in Japan
- Experience in interior or HVAC systems
- Strong project-driven environment background
- Proficient in English
Preferred requirements:
- Engineering or program management background
- Proficient in Chinese and/or German
