カスタマーエンジニアリング製品スペシャリスト/ Customer Engineering Product Specialist

An international power solutions provider is searching for a Customer Engineering Product Specialist. The selected applicant will be serving as the primary liaison to deliver specialised product technical information. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage product specifications, communicate product change information, conduct complex installation issue resolutions and facilitate customer requests
• Make decisions in areas of product selection, design, and integration that impact OEM machine performance, optimisation and quality
• Develop strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts
• Lead the translation of customer needs into functional product requirements
• Ensure products are applied and installed correctly to meet customer system requirements and environments
• Propose innovative customer-focused initiatives and projects
• Assist with the transfer of knowledge through coaching and mentoring less experienced engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related STEM field
• Prior senior or lead engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area
• Engineering knowledge of the engine, and base skill for each dynamics (fluid, thermal, material, etc.) and electrical
• Understanding of engine performance data
• Demonstrated track record of technical problem-solving and quality decision-making
• Experience in an international assignment is advantageous
• Knowledge of MS Office is preferred
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese; proficient in English
