OTC・トレジャリーシニアマネージャー/ Senior Manager, OTC & Treasury

An international pharmaceutical company is seeking a Senior Manager, OTC & Treasury. The selected candidate will oversee order-to-cash and treasury operations, manage revenue recognition, cash flow, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee revenue recognition to ensure all sales transactions are properly recorded
• Monitor accounts receivable, deferred revenue balances, and allowance for doubtful accounts to ensure sufficient reserves
• Manage monthly billing processes and cash collection and application
• Determine appropriate credit limits and manage credit control in SAP
• Maintain customer, pricing, and rebate master data
• Manage fixed asset property tax accrual and payment, software capitalisation under JGAAP, and physical counts
• Provide guidance on accounting treatment of fixed assets from JGAAP perspectives
• Collaborate with business owners on asset acquisition and disposal processes
• Manage fixed asset tax return filings
• Optimise cash position through forecasting and intercompany settlements
• Oversee legal entity cash flow budgeting and projections
• Manage daily and periodic cash transactions including tax payments and loan management
• Maintain relationships with banks and corporate treasury while providing financial options
• Drive knowledge transfer of OTC and treasury activities to support succession planning
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations based on accounting standards
• Prepare internal and external financial reports in line with regulatory requirements
• Manage deadlines across multiple priorities ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 10 years of experience in Finance
• More than 5 years of experience in global and/or multi-divisional organisation
• Experience within pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in management role and managing matrix stakeholders in multinational environment
• Experience in general accounting and financial close processes
• Proficiency in SAP, SAP Business Intelligence, and Hyperion
• Possess a valid CPA, MBA or equivalent qualification
• Fluent level English and Japanese
