FP&Aマネージャー/ FP&A Manager

A multinational pharmaceutical company is looking for an FP&A Manager. The selected candidate will lead enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting processes, prepare consolidated management reporting, and provide financial analysis to support strategic business decisions and senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Support key business and investment decisions through analysis of issues, options development, and enabling appropriate decision making
• Drive financial performance and business planning submissions, advising senior management on key drivers
• Contribute to the completion of the enterprise-wide planning cycle
• Ensure financial and management data collection tools operate efficiently to support budgeting and forecasting
• Liaise with business partners to maintain accurate financial planning and reporting systems
• Lead country business plan submission in Hyperion Planning ensuring accurate P&L and sales and expense detail
• Prepare and analyse in-depth financial and business performance analyses of budgets, forecasts, and actual results
• Obtain understanding of key business drivers, risk factors, and industry trends to inform financial analyses
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in planning and monthly reporting processes
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis
• Support continuous improvement, coaching, and financial governance initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
• More than 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a multi-national pharmaceutical company
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and liaising with senior managers
• Demonstrated ability to lead processes, project management, and problem solving independently
• Possess a valid finance professional qualification or equivalent
• Excellent PC skills including Oracle Hyperion Planning (Smart View), SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in global/regional organisations, understanding of drug development lifecycle and/or commercial aspects
• Finance Business Partnering and accounting experience
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical business and company products
• Possess a valid USCPA, JICPA, or MBA qualification
