カントリーファイナンスマネージャー/ Country Finance Manager

An international automotive manufacturing company is looking for a Country Finance Manager. The selected candidate will lead the finance function, ensure accurate reporting, drive budgeting and planning, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the finance department of the Japanese subsidiary
• Participate as a member of the Leadership Team
• Enforce corporate and local accounting standards (IFRS and JGAAP)
• Implement and control corporate financial, operational, and procedural frameworks
• Oversee monthly closing and corporate reporting, ensuring accuracy of financial and non-financial data
• Prepare financial performance analyses and propose business process improvements
• Deploy and maintain regional reporting tools for Asia
• Drive the budget process and long-range plan development and execution
• Control reliability and consistency of financial and project valuation data with Development, Sales, and Program Management teams
• Supervise SAP costing processes and support system enhancements
• Liaise with Corporate on legal, treasury, and taxation matters
• Manage relationships with internal and external auditors and ensure implementation of recommendations
• Provide financial support and guidance to other functions as needed
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental rules

Requirements:

• More than 15 years of work experience, including team management
• Prior experience in accounting, costing, pricing, and financial reporting
• Experience in manufacturing and the automotive industry
• Proficient in SAP FI/CO modules
• Skilled in MS Office Suite
• Fluent level English and Japanese
