FP＆Aマネージャー/ FP&A Manager

A multinational biotechnology company is looking for an FP&A Manager. The selected candidate will drive financial planning, performance management, and decision support while partnering with business leaders to optimise resource allocation and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
• Analyse monthly budget vs. actual (BvA) performance and explain variances
• Prepare financial outlooks and landing forecasts for leadership
• Design and manage key financial and operational KPIs and prepare management materials
• Translate financial data into actionable insights to support strategic decisions
• Partner with department leaders to drive planning, cost control, and prioritisation
• Act as a finance business partner to R&D, Operations, and corporate teams
• Build and improve FP&A processes, templates, and reporting frameworks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• More than 5 years of experience in FP&A, management accounting, or corporate finance
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Fluent level English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• MBA or other advanced degree
• Practical experience working with C-level executives
• Experience preparing materials for board or investor discussions
• Background in life sciences, manufacturing, or technology
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling
