FP＆A マネージャー/ FP&A Manager

A multinational medical devices company is looking for an FP&A Manager. The selected candidate will lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to drive informed business decisions and performance improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse financial performance, key metrics, and market trends within the Japan business
• Prepare and present financial reports with insights and recommendations for management
• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with regional and corporate teams
• Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts reflecting market dynamics and business drivers
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and growth initiatives
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions against budgets and forecasts
• Monitor performance metrics and identify optimisation opportunities
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and documented requirements
• Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies in the Japan market

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or related roles
• Experience supporting the Japan market in a finance function
• Proficient in financial modelling, Excel, and analytical tools
• In-depth knowledge of Japanese accounting standards, business practices, and regulatory frameworks
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess a valid MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA)
