財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A global sleep solutions company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee the month-end close, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements while partnering with global teams to support business growth. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the month-end close process and deliver accurate financial results, including reconciliations and P&L/Balance Sheet preparation
• Reconcile multiple payment gateways across e-commerce channels to ensure accurate reporting
• Manage statutory tax compliance with third-party advisors, including consumption, income, and asset taxes
• Strengthen governance, controls, and compliance frameworks across the Japan entity
• Partner with global finance teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective cross-border communication
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes with robust analysis and local insights
• Apply critical thinking to challenge the status quo and deliver practical process improvements
• Leverage data, systems, and emerging tools like AI to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy
• Play a key role in evolving the finance function to support business scaling

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in financial accounting
• Prior experience in manufacturing, eCommerce, or the retail industry
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is an advantage
• Possess a valid professional qualification in accounting or finance (CPA)
• Bilingual level Japanese and English
