FP&Aマネージャー/ FP&A Manager

A multinational biotechnology company is seeking a Manager/Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. The selected candidate will support financial strategy, operations, and business partnering across R&D and support functions. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Finance Business Partner to R&D/GxP or support functions
• Manage and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Oversee financial operations, including consolidation and reporting
• Handle alliance-related financial reporting for R&D/GxP
• Collaborate cross-functionally to challenge assumptions and drive cost-effective decisions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements
• Align local financial strategies with global finance teams
• Identify and act on financial risks and opportunities
• Lead or support finance-related projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• More than 7 years of experience in FP&A or accounting
• Proven experience in financial business partnering and operations
• Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is ideal
• Proficient in technical accounting; knowledge of IFRS is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Business level Japanese; fluent level English
