CFO

A multinational luxury brand is looking to fill a Chief Financial Officer position. The qualified applicant will be in charge for overseeing and supervising daily financial transactions. This position is based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, GL, etc.
• Complete month-end closing activities
• Assist auditors during annual statutory audits
• Create annual budgets and conduct periodic re-forecasting
• Ensure smooth monthly reporting that complies with HQ
• Monitor progress toward financial and accounting objectives

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, BA, or a related Finance discipline
• More than 8 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury goods industry
• Expertise on local accounting rules and Tax Law
• Understanding of IFRS standards and accounting treatments
• Experience in SAP HANA is ideal
• Possess a valid CPA or relevant certificate
• Proficient in written and verbal English and Japanese
