税務マネージャー/ Tax Manager

A renowned semiconductor manufacturing company is seeking a Tax Manager. The selected applicant will be responsible for overseeing the company’s tax compliance and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with local regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, ensure, and oversee the company’s tax compliance and reporting immediately after hiring
• Maintain clear and organised tax records to address concerns or discrepancies
• Prepare and file corporate income tax, consumption tax, and local tax returns on time with tax advisors, including transfer pricing work
• Stay updated on tax regulations and implement necessary changes
• Provide training and guidance to the team on tax-related matters
• Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Collaborate with HQ finance and accounting teams in Taiwan and Japan to support business and strategic initiatives
• Accept reassignment to other duties as specified by the company within the scope of change

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Business Administration
• More than 5 years of related accounting experience (tax-related experience is preferred)
• Knowledge of J-GAAP and IFRS
• Proficient in MS Office
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in accounting firms
• Proficient in Chinese
