タックスマネージャー/ Tax Manager

A global medical technology company is looking for a Tax Manager. The selected candidate will oversee tax compliance, audits, and reporting while ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain tax records and ensure timely submission of tax provisions and returns
• Prepare Consumption Tax, Business Establishment Tax, and corporate income tax filings
• Review US tax provisions and analyse tax accounts in collaboration with internal teams
• Ensure compliance and manage tax-related internal audits
• Lead transfer pricing adjustments and liaise with corporate tax teams and consultants
• Handle tax audits, provide research findings, and communicate with external tax agencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or Tax Law
• More than 5 years in corporate tax experience
• 3-5 years of experience in a Big 4 firm; industry experience preferred
• Experience in a US-listed company is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Japan tax laws
• Proficient in Excel (SAP ERP preferred)
• Possess a valid Zeirishi certification or equivalent
• Fluent level Japanese and English
