税務マネージャー/ Tax Manager

A multinational personal care products manufacturer is looking for a Tax Manager. The selected candidate will oversee tax filings, coordinate audits, and provide guidance on tax-related business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tax filings and work papers for local and regional jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and proper disclosure
• Handle transfer pricing risks and prepare relevant documentation, facilitating Advance Pricing Agreements when necessary
• Coordinate tax authority audits and respond to inquiries and notices
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment on tax matters
• Advise internal stakeholders on the financial and tax implications of business decisions
• Stay updated on tax law changes and identify potential risks or opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, law, or a relevant domain
• More than 6 years of experience in Japan corporate income tax (in-house or in a public accounting environment)
• Experience with JGAAP and US GAAP
• Prior experience in a US multinational company is a plus
• Knowledge of Japan tax laws and regulations (transfer pricing and consumption tax)
• Fluent level English and Japanese
