AP担当会計士/ AP Accountant

A renowned apparel manufacturing company is looking for an AP Accountant. The selected candidate will manage accounts payable operations, support month-end close, and ensure accurate, compliant accounting processes. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate general ledger in line with US and local GAAP and reporting timelines
• Oversee invoice processing and expense reporting to support timely and accurate monthly close
• Manage direct AP matching for merchandise invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts
• Lead expense accrual activities to ensure proper period-end recognition
• Support cash management and execute payments accurately and on schedule
• Handle daily accounting operations while improving workflows and systems for efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting
• Experience of accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with SAP and Rakuraku Seisan
