AR会計担当/ AR Accountant

An international shoe and accessory manufacturer is looking for an AR Accountant. The selected candidate will manage accounts receivable, intercompany settlements, bank and cash operations, reporting, and closing support. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Process daily sales postings and accounts receivable entries
• Manage collections and settlement procedures with business partners
• Reconcile AR ledgers, sales systems, and external settlement data
• Monitor outstanding balances and prepare aging reports
• Process intercompany invoices and settlements
• Perform monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct daily bank checks and record cash transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and support cash flow forecasting
• Post journal entries for AR and assigned accounts
• Process employee expense reimbursements
• Support monthly and annual closing activities
• Prepare AR and cash-related reports and assist with ad-hoc management reporting
• Maintain organized files and support audit documentation

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in retail
• Prior ERP experience (SAP or D365 preferred)
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)
• Proficient in reading and written English; professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in eCommerce
• Prior experience with Power BI
• Proven experience in multinational or foreign-affiliated companies
