AP会計士/ AP Accountant

An international fashion design company is looking for an AP Accountant. The selected candidate will manage accounts payable processes, support payment operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable for all brands under US GAAP standards
• Process travel and expense claims, vendor invoices, tax payments, and other disbursements
• Calculate and reconcile input VAT and prepare tax-related documentation
• Control and reconcile cash equivalents and related records
• Prepare documents for monthly closing, including reconciliations and AP ageing reviews
• Support internal controls, documentation, and audit processes
• Coordinate with business partners across offices and retail stores

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of accounting experience
• Experience in accounting functions
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and MS Office Suite
• Possess a valid Japan official bookkeeping test grade 2+ (Nissho Boki 2 kyu)
• Fluent level Japanese; intermediate level reading and written English

Preferred requirements:

• Practical experience in retail business
• Knowledge of US GAAP or USCPA
• Experience in accounts payable, travel and expense, or SAP Concur/Ariba
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA
